COVID 19 Cases On The Rise, BA5 Variant, Highly Contagious

COVID 19 cases are on the rise and the BA5 variant appears to be very contagious according to Ballad Health. The increase has pushed hospitalizations and ICU totals to the highest levels since spring. Ballad says its testing centers are seeing between two and three hundred people a day, compared to 20-30 just a couple of months ago. Ballad also says the actually number of cases may be even higher because many people are testing at home.
