Charges Pending In Kingsport Weekend Traffic Crash

Kingsport Police continue their investigation and charges are now pending in connection with a fatal traffic crash late Friday night in the Model City. Kingsport Police say a truck driven by Michael Marcum pulled in front of a Honda Civic driven by Betty Davis at the intersection of Lynn Garden Drive and Truxton Drive. Davis, and her 75 year old passenger, Phyllils J. Long were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Long later died from her injuries. Marcum was not injured in the accident.
