Investigation Underway In Johnson City…After Factory Explosion Kills One And Injures Another

An investigation is underway in Johnson City after an explosion at a manufacturing facility kills one and injures another. Witnesses say they heard and felt an explosion around 430 Wednesday afternoon in the neighborhood surrounding Lighting Resources, LLC, located at 300 Boggs Lane. Authorities responding to the scene say one employee was killed and another was trapped and rescued and is being treated at a local hospital…So far the names of the victims are not being released.
