Jonesborough man receives sentence for child pornography

The U.S. Department of Justice announced a Jonesborough man was sentenced to 460 months in prison Thursday after being convicted of multiple child pornography offenses. Timothy Carver, 54, was convicted after a trial in April 2023 on multiple child pornography charges that involved victims as young as 2 years old. During the investigation, agents who searched Carver’s phone found more than 1,700 photo and video files containing child porn.
