Rittenhouse at ETSU event moved to meet demand

The conservative group Turning Point USA has changed the venue for Kyle Rittenhouse’s appearance next Thursday due to demand for tickets.

His free event is now at the Brinkley Center, and while several alumni have posted messages requesting ETSU cancel the event, the university issued a statement that said the forum is not sanctioned by the school and protected under Tennessee’s Campus Free Speech Act.

Rittenhouse was acquitted in the murders of two men during a night of civil protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in 2020.
