Fire Station 2 in Bristol TN holds “hose uncoupling ceremony”

Dignitaries in Bristol, Tn were on hand as The Bristol, Tennessee Fire Department held a ‘hose uncoupling ceremony’ Tuesday to mark the official opening of the brand new Fire Station 2. The new facility replaces the old station that fire officials say could not accommodate updated equipment. The new Fire Station 2 has many new upgrades including safety measures that protect firefighters from deadly cancer-causing materials. Department leaders also say the location of the facility is better suited to serve the community.
