Biltmore pledges $2 million to help in flood recovery
Biltmore CEO Bill Cecil, Jr., said the company is making a $2 million donation to non-profit agencies to assist them in Helene recovery.
Biltmore Estate remains closed and their latest statement said workers are still removing debris from roadways on the 8,000 acre attraction.
The report also said Biltmore lost some of the animals due to the flooding but the majority are safe.
Various buildings on the grounds and large sections of trees that make up most of the property received extensive damage.
