Kingsport putting new pavement on Cooks Valley Road

Some heavy traveled routes in Kingsport will see delays due to an expansive paving project.

A city report said a $2.5 million operation will place new asphalt on Cooks Valley Road from Harbor Chapel to Old Cooks Valley Road.

Motorists should watch out for road workers and reduce speeds in those work zones. The job is expected to take three weeks weather permitting.
