ETSU begins search for new football coach as Tre Lamb heads to Tulsa

After leading ETSU football to a winning season this year, head coach Tre Lamb has been hired by Tulsa. Lamb will be introduced as the program’s new head coach at a news conference on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Central time. Lamb led the Bucs to a 7-5 record this past fall, more than doubling the win total from the past two seasons combined. ETSU Director of Athletics, Dr. Richard Sander, released a statement regarding Lamb’s departure on Sunday night which wished Coach Lamb all the best and thanked him for his time at ETSU. The statement also said that the search for a new head coach is getting underway immediately.
