Washington County VA lifts burn ban

The Washington County, Virginia Board of Supervisors voted to lift a burn ban in the county on Tuesday. The ban had been in effect for nearly two weeks with dry and windy conditions. In a release, the board said residents are still urged to burn debris safely and to keep in mind that Virginia’s 4 p.m. burning law remains in effect thru April 30.
