Jonesborough Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide

A Jonesborough man is indicted by a Greene County Grand Jury on three charges including vehicular homicide. Investigators with the Tennessee Highway Patrol believe 27 year old Cornelio Murillo Ortiz caused a wreck on Interstate 81 in 2017 when he was driving under the influence and crashed into a tanker truck…killing a one year old child in Ortiz’s vehicle. Ortiz is also charged with vehicular assault and reckless endangerment.
