Judge Refuses To Dismiss False Arrest Lawsuit

A judge has refused to dismiss a 700 thousand dollar, Black Friday, false arrest lawsuit brought against Bristol’s Cabela’s Store and two Bristol, Virginia police officers. Chris Blevins Jr, says he was falsely accused of shoplifting by the store and then tased by officers Wendy Brewer and Patricia Eller. The two officers are being investigated by the department for not reporting the use of the taser after the incident.
