Pubs Will Now Be Allowed To Operate In Downtown ELizabethton

The Elizabethton City Council has paved the way for pubs to locate in the downtown district. Council members voted five to one last night to approve the measure. Current city law allows alcohol to be sold in establishments if the majority of their profits come from food. This resolution will allow microbreweries to set up shot in downtown.
