Legislation to Increase Penalties on Annoying Robocalls
A new Tennessee bill seeks to increase penalties on those annoying telemarketer or robocalls many of us receive.
Senator Joey Hensley introduced the bill in hopes of stopping some of those calls Tennesseans receive on a daily basis.
Under the bill the fine could be increased from $10,000 to $25,000 on any person who commits identification spoofing. Each time they call it could also be considered a seperate violation.
