Developer Plans To Build Boutique Hotel At General Mills Site

A developer working on the old General Mills site in Johnson City apparently is looking to build a boutique hotel on the site as well. A purchase agreement is being worked out currently, but no plans have been developed as of yet. The property located along West Walnut Street is zoned commercial which allows for the development of hotels in the General Mills site location. Summers-Taylor Inc, is developing the property with plans to refurbish the General Mills building, and construct several businesses within the property.
